Tears for Israeli spies and collaborators
Somebody needs to explain this to me NOW. Wait, the answer is quite obvious. Never mind. But the New York Times which rarely puts Middle East stories on its front page today led with a story about this alleged Israeli spy. I mean, more than 400 children were killed by Israeli terrorists in Gaza and not one profile of the victims appeared in the paper. Yet, there is a whole long profile of this man, only because he is an alleged spy for Israel. But the paper noted that he is smiling in the picture, which can only mean that he must be innocent, right? And why is it that every alleged or convicted spy for Israel over the years has been treated so reverently and sympathetically in the Western press? Let us not forget that the Lavon Affair was a scandal not only for the liars in the Israeli government, but also for the Western media which all rushed to accuse Nasser of anti-Semitism because he rounded up the Israeli gang network in Egypt. Let us remember that Western media rallied to the case of Mustafa Amin when he was arrested by the Egyptian regime and accused of spying for the US, although the semi-official history of hte CIA by Tom Weiner (Legacy of Ashes) reveals that Amin was indeed a CIA spy in Egypt. So what is the problem of the New York Times? That spies and collaborators for Israel should never be arrested or prosecuted becaue Israeli is entitled to espionaage? No, really, somebody needs to explain that one to me.
