Saddam's Goebbels

Sa`d Al-Bazzaz was undoubtedly the cheif propagandist for Saddam Husayn. He even was in charge of buying off Arab journalists in the 1980s. He never really broke with Saddam in his lifetime, but left Iraq after the American invasion of 1991 and then threw his lot with the Jordanian regime first and later with the Saudi regime. Look at the front page of his newspaper, Az-Zaman. Saddam's Goebbels now has a media empire which serves Saudi-American interests. (thanks Amer)
