"As student protests over the bombing of Gaza spread to eight universities across England today, the director of the London School of Economics, Sir Howard Davies, issued a joint statement with student protesters saying he understood their concerns and backing a fundraising drive for scholarships for Palestinians." The Palestinians are not struggling for scholarship, o Sir potato. They want their homeland (their entire homeland) back. But then again, as mild and lame as his statement is, no president of a US university or nursery can make that statement. (thanks Olivia)
