Octavia Nasr

CNN's Octavia Nasr, who has been very bad this week I am told, used to work for the media of the Lebanese Forces militia (the militia that was armed and supported by Israel and which committed the Sabra and Shatila massacres) during the war years. Just remember that. She is the one who wrote a pathetic piece (or report) about sexism in Arabic TV serials, as if American TV serials are not more sexist. A CNN correspondent (who shall remain anonymous) sent me some of her inside email exchanges and I can assure you that she is as pathetic as she is ignorant, trying to draw upon Western colonial feminist implulses.
