The NYT Public Editor: the Bill O'Reilly Trick
One of the stupid and funny tricks that right-wing fanatic, Bill O'Reilly, does every night is his insistence on reading several emails every night which include some nut who accuse him of being leftist, and another of accuse him of being rightist. He thinks that those two emails are sufficient to cover up his obvious right-wing bias. Today the New York Times' Public Editor resorted to the same trick of Bill O'Reilly. He said that complaints came from both sides, and that only proves that the paper is fair. But one of his reader said it best: "Stephen Weil of Washington said he understood that Israel’s bombings had killed hundreds more Palestinians than the number of Israelis killed by Hamas rockets. Yet photos on the newspaper’s Web site “tell a different story: for every Palestinian victim, an Israeli one is shown.”"
