Misguided massacres and crimes
"“The policy, on the part of the Israeli government, of reoccupation of Gaza, seems to me catastrophically misguided,”" The words of some liberal critics of Israel (as rare as they are in the US) are quite infuriating. "Misguided"? What does that mean? That it was an aberration by an otherwise rightly-guided state? Was Pinochet misguided? Or when they speak of Israeli crimes and massacres as "mistakes". Oh, no. Israeli crimes and mistakes since the founding of the state and even earlier were never mistakes: they were planned and authorized from the leadership of the state.
