From a demonstrator in Abu Dhabi

"A mass rally for Gaza in Abu Dhabi ubruptly came to an end this afternoon when out of nowhere, tens of police cars with sirens and flashing lights invaded the street that had been closed off for traffic to allow free movement of the procession. Over a thousand demonstrators ( including children and infants in strollers) nearly trampeled each other trying to get onto the sidewalks and away from the onslaught of approaching police cars. I don't know if anyone was hurt, but I would be surprised if there were no injuries."
