Ethan Bronner: on humane Israeli killings

It is never enough. There are no limits to how far New York Times correspondents (with one exception or two) would go to justify Israeli killings of Palestinian and Lebanese civilians. I really suggest that New York Times correspondents sign a petition on the day that Israel begins its regular ritual of killing civilians and say that they unreservedly endorse and support Israeli killings. I mean, Bronner's piece today merely repeats the Israeli propaganda justifications of killings that are contained in the article by Taghreed. He tells you (even in the headline) how much Israel is doing to bring aid to the people of Gaza. You are expected to respond by saying: Good for you Israel. How humane of you, O Zionist entity. He then adds: "Tens of thousands of Gazans have received recorded phone calls from the Israeli Army warning them that their houses have been marked as targets because they harbored either militants or weapons facilities like rocket workshops. Noncombatants were urged to clear out. Hundreds of thousands of leaflets gave the same message." He meant to add at the end, "400 killed and 2000 injured NOTWITHSTANDING.
