Analogy with Al-Karamah

Just read an article that Michael C Hudson (my mentor at Georgetown) wrote on the Palestinian resistance movement in the early 1970s. You will see the effects of Al-Karamah battle (which is small by today's standards and was characterized by the Arafat's bombast and bravado) on recruitment by Palestinian organizations. I heard from Beirut that people there are insisting on donating money not to Palestinian charitable organizations but to Hamas. With every new massacre by Israel (since 1948), Zionism seals its ugly fate.
