Women and....OIL

Dear Joseph sent me this note about the post yesterday on Lesley Stah's adventure in Saudi Arabia (I cite with his permission): "What you should talk about is how Western news stations make it a point to send women reporters to Saudi and Iran so that they can cover themselves. This way whatever they are reporting on --economy, cinema, water, oil-- the only thingk the story will really be about is how women have to cover their hair."
