"We Shall Miss you, O Thomas" Friedman
Anis Naqqash (for his background see here) writes a devastating piece on Thomas Friedman, titled "We shall Miss you, o Thomas". It should be translated into English. You see the man is an outbidder (a muzayid, as we call him in Arabic). He shifts his posittions and is never asked to account or explain for his deceptive shifts. He was a cheerleader for the Bush's invasion of Iraq, and would later pose as a critic of the war. He was the biggest cheerleader of financial globalization (along with Bill Clinton), and now he is posing as a critic of globalization.
