To be fair

Just because I posted hate mail down below, I don't want to leave you with the impression that most of the mail I receive is hateful. Far from it. Most of the emails I receive from (American and non-American) readers tend to be supportive, favorable, and kind. I would embarrass myself if I were to cite from them.
