Ibrahim Salamah's Memoirs

You need to get a copy of this important book that was published this year. It is not easy to find a copy as no main publisher agreed to publish it. It is very courageous and reveals so much about the contemporary history of Lebanese journalism and of intelligence services' link to the Lebanese media. I started reading it yesterday and could not stop until I finished it. He provides information on links between Israeli intelligence and Salim Al-Lawzi and suggests that Saudi intelligence may be behind his assassination (with Syrian logistical support). The book is sad and melancholic but it could only be that if you write about the subject. I will mention it in a future article I will write on Lebanese media. If you are cynical about the Lebanese press, this book will make you more cynical.
