Here, in a long rambling speech about Palestine and Arabism, Jumblat explains his "drift" to the US and explains it was only the assassinations that led him there. He then lambasts Western nations, and claims that he dicussed Palestine in his trips to the US. MEMRI will not translates Jumblat's references to "Western desecrations" in Palestine. He then warns the West: "Let the world be prepared for more of what it calls terrorism, and more of the intellectual, political and sucidal--call it what you wish--resistance against the Western desecration on our land in Palestine and in other places other than Palestine." Yes, this Jumblat has been a key ally of the US in Lebanon.
