The racism the Zionist political culture is all too clear. By their standards, there are no safe Arabs. All Arabs become dangerous and menacing. I mean, as the McCain campaign gets more desperate, they are using the name of Rashid Khalidi to add more "sinister links" to Obama. Rashid was of course my adviser for my five years at the American University of Beirut, and he never was a radical. If anything, students at AUB (including me) always faulted him for his moderation. Just to show you how much lies are spread in the media on the Middle East. I mean, if somebody were to say that I am a radical, I would accept that (gladly). But even moderate Arabs are always portrayed as radical and dangerous. This is why moderate Arabs should not be moderate.
