I wonder where Joe the plumber stands on the Palestinian issue. I am tempted to speak about the debate yesterday but will refrain. I don't ever mention my website in my classes (and I say I don't know it when somebody asks me about it) but students have been managing to find it as of late. I don't want to say anything on the debate that may influence students' political preferences one way or anther a few weeks before the election. But I can say this: I watched the Canadian debate for prime minister last week, and it was so much more substantive and interesting than US debates.
