The meeting between Jumblat's party leadership and Hizbullah's leadership is very indicative. I have always advised Lebanese to never trust any of the sectarian parties and organizations: all those parties are willing to subordinate their declared goals and policies to their petty sectarian calculations. They casually engage in double betrayals: they betray their own principles, and their supporters. Did I not tell you that Hizbullah may join Jumblat on electoral lists even though they were accusing him a year ago of collaboration with Israel?
