In fact, Saudi media are so comically copying propaganda talking points of U.S. media that today they seem celebrating U.S. victories in the Olympics. A special ticker flash on Al-Arabiya TV announced that an American player won some tin medal for some potato-tossing game in the Olympics. Hell, Saudi media would even support an Israeli attack on Mecca, if it pleases the U.S. I was a bit more surprised to see AlJazeera also unconditionally supporting the Georgian government and failing to report 1) that the Georgian government triggered the conflict; 2) the Israeli connection.
