"Still, Mr. Khalidi said ascertaining Mr. Obama’s precise position was often difficult. “You may come away thinking, ‘Wow, he agrees with me,’ ” he said. “But later, when you get home and think about it, you are not sure.”" Let me explain this one. It is easy. You were not sure because he was lying to the Arabs he meet. That is why. Then Rashid said: "“I’m unhappy about the positions he’s taken, but I can’t say I’m terribly disappointed.” He added: “People think he’s a saint. He’s not. He’s a politician.”" Oh, no. We know that he is a politician and we were not thinking that he is a saint. We simply were expecting him to be honest, consistent, and decent. This is not about sainthood at all.
