Can somebody explain to me why no petitions are being signed by Arab intellectuals and writers on behalf of the Saudi blogger in jail? Many (like MEMRI which seems to agree with House of Saud that there are only human rights violations in Syria and Iran but nowhere else in the Middle East) only seem to notice oppression and persecution in Syria--an oppressive state no doubt.
