Allies of Syria in Lebanon have lately been fabricating stories and interviews for propaganda purposes. The so-called interview with the former chief of French counter-intelligence in Hizbullah's mouthpiece is but one recent example. Almost every day somebody sends me some interview or a news story asking whether it is authentic or fabricated. Invariably, they are all fabricated. What gives? What does that signal?
