What Americans media will not report. Of course, most Arab media serve House of Saud and reflect their political desires and orientations. But it is indicative to look at some publications that are not under the tight control of House of Saud. Talal Salman, publisher of As-Safir, for example, said that the red carpets that will be extended for Bush are soaked with the blood of his Arab victims. The publisher of Al-Quds Al-`Arabi, `Abdul-Bari `Atwan, called on the Arab people to meet Bush with rotten eggs. Remember: it is illegal in Lebanon to pelt the Maronite patriarch with eggs.
