I read that the Saudi government told Sarkozy to not bring his girlfriend with him to Saudi Arabia during his visit. If it were Bush, they would welcome even his pets with open arms, and the Servitor of the Two Holy Sites (not counting the IKEA store in the kingdom) would volunteer to host the dog on his lap.
