George Abu Risha, the new leader of the tribal council of Anbar highway robbers, literally? Well, Al-Arabiya TV is still shedding tears over the death of `Abdus-Sattar Abu Risha, the tribal highway robber who supported Saddam, and then supported Al-Qa`idah, before discovering a deep-seated love of liberty and supporting George W. Bush, for whom he slaughtered 40 sheep when he visited him in Iraq (did PETA protest the slaughter)? Anyway, I was watching this report about the eldest son of `Abdus-Sattar. But what was striking is that Al-Arabiya TV referred to his eldest son by the name of Sattam. Now there is such a name (although it is spelled with a "sin" and not a "sad" as Al-Arabiya TV spelled it), but it is NOT the name of the fellow. His father named him Saddam, after Saddam Husayn. Has the family now discovered the convenience of hiding the facts? Mark my words. That guy's name will be changed again. I propose that he be named George Abu Risha, and if Iran becomes dominant in Iraq, let his name be Manoucher Abu Risha (or Dimitri Abu Risha if Russia becomes dominant).
