"It was a little disconcerting to be reading Mark Lilla’s article while watching the Democratic so-called debate in Iowa, as each candidate was put through a religious test for office: “Do you pray?” Which, of course, is really, do you believe in God? The Great Separation is truly no longer a great separation. Not with taxpayer-funded faith-based initiatives, religious tests for public office, Republican candidates who believe creation myths over scientific explanations."
