Why is Al-Akhbar giving such coverage to the stupid new play by Mansur Rahbani? This is a man who could not come up with one memorable song after the illness of his brother. Mansur was able to turn the story of Socrates into a cliched story about the village, the mukhtar, and the various silly characters of Rahbani plays. And the talented Rahbani brother (`Asi) is dead: when did Mansur produce anything of value, except silly and boring stuff.
