To promote Amin Gemayyel's parliamentary campaign, LBC-TV's Kalam An-Nas is hosting Amin Gemayyel with Marcel Ghanim. Ghanim is not challenging Gemayyel on any point, and in fact the show looks like a paid infomercial. And would somebody remind Gemayyel that he was kicked out of Lebanon by his ally Samir Ga`ja` (Ga`ga in Egyptian accent)? And in every segment, they would show a clip of his son, Pierre, and the camera would zoom on the eyes of Amin hoping that he would shed a tear or two. You could tell that he really tried hard, but it was not easy. I would not be surprised if Ghanim--who was quite close with Syrian mukhabarat in Lebanon--offered him fresh onions behind the camera.
