Thus Spoke The Prime Minister of Lebanon: Fu'ad Sanyurah Opens Up. It is not common for Fu'ad Sanyurah to write columns newspapers: he is a very busy man. He has to attend to his tears and to carefully receive commands and orders from outside the borders of Lebanon. Here, he wrote an objective--real objective--article on the Saudi King. Here is a flavor from the end of the article: "As for King `Abdullah Bin `Abdul-`Aziz, the great human being, the great leader, and the noble knight, may God care for his hope, and prolong his term, and let us enjoy his presence and work, as a reward for what he has presented and contributed, and as a compensation for what he sought and struggled for, for the dignity and progress of the kingdom, the fortress of the Arabs and Muslims, and for the good of the Arab nation, the peace of Lebanon, its liberty, Arabism, sovereignty, and stability of its democratic regime and mutual existence." Do you now see why Mr. Bush and Samir Khalaf are fans of Mr. Sanyurah? Do you see why Arab liberals consider Mr. Sanyurah a model of a "statesman." You have to admit it: these are the words of a statesman--do you notice they never say "stateswoman"? (Sexist jerks).
