Saudi Minister of Trade, Hashim bin `Abdullah, appeared on Saudi channel 1 (channel 2 is owned by another Amir, and channel 3 by another, etc), and talked about the growing problem of inflation in the kingdom. He offered the solution. He said that the Saudi people have to "change the nature of his eating, and to adapt and get used to whatever is available." He suggested the people buy lesser quality rice.
