"Palestinians never used to do these things to one another." Not, that is not true. The Palestinians have always been in conflict between those who are collaborationists and those who are opposed to collaboration. In fact, this was a major aspect of the 1936-39 Palestinian revolt, especially in its second phase. Palestinian organizations used to clash regularly in Lebanon, and the Fath movement was always involved. `Arafat always believed in raising a gun against other Palestinians if his interests were at stake. So let us not act as if this is just out of the blue. Also, how come people did not talk about Palestinains-going-against-other-Palestinians when Fath Dahlan thugs went against Palestinians who were opposed to Oslo in the 1990? (thanks Molly)
