I watched the Aljazeera special on Ghassan Kanafani. It makes you sad and angry at the same time: did you see Yossi Melman (who also doubles as a CBS reporter) provides a casual justification for the killing of Palestinian poets and writers? When I watch something on Ghassan or read something about him I feel that I miss him. But can you miss somebody you have never met? Somebody who is dead? But maybe I miss an era that is gone. I live in the era of Muhammad Dahlan and Fu'ad Sanyurah now.
