What my readers don't know is that those Lebanese around the world who read and admire An-Nahar newspaper (the right-wing, sectarian Christian, anti-Palestinian (people), anti-Syrian (people) publication), through its English and Arabic websites, really subscribe to An-Nahar's firm belief in the genetic superiority of the Lebanese people, and buy An-Nahar's notion of a "Lebanese civilization". Please, don't get me wrong. I do enjoy Baba Ghannuj, but there is more to a civilization, I think. Am I wrong?
