The real record of Walid `Idu.
In April, 2003, Walid `Idu said that "One wishes that all Arab leaders understand that American threats to Syria are threats to them, including those who march in the American procession. This arrogance will take its full course. If the Americans achieve success in Iraq, they are no more than cardboard leaders over their people."
In July 2003, `Idu said that "Syria, people, state, and leadership have always been on the side of the Lebanese people, and this step is only a sincere translation of the Syrian affection for Lebanon."
In July 2004, `Idu said that Lebanon's relation with Syria is "more than excellent and deep." As for the extension of the term of Emile Lahhud, `Idu said: "We are willing to favorably respond to any project that constitute an interest for Syria."
In March 2004, `Idu commented on a demonstration for human rights in Damascus. He said that this demonstration was "inspired and supported from the outside to pressure Syria." He said that the Syrian government is under pressure because of its "steadfastness in the face of projects that aim to liquidate the Palestinian question."
And here, `Idu made it clear that Hariri bloc would support the Syrian decision to extend the term of Emile Lahhud.
Good night. These are the leaders of Lebanon. (thanks Revv)
