The Lebanese government issues an official statement on why it banned the movie, Angels in America, in Lebanon: it goes on to describe in graphic details sexual situations between "deviants" (the official Lebanese government word for gays and lesbians), and then--just to make sure--it adds that the movie offers "free propaganda" for Israel and that it calls for the resettlement of the Palestinians in the West Bank or Golan (the statement does not seem to be sure). You have to admit that the Lebanese government is capable of battling terrorists in the North and "deviants" in the film industry. That explains why Mr. Bush described Sanyurah as "courageous." Maybe he was referring to the ban of this movie.
