Following a post from yesterday (based on an article by the fine reporter, Hanna Allam), Nir sent me this: "US did not promise to accept 7,000 refugees, it promised to review the applications of 7,000 refugees, and even that is optimistic, and they probably wont accept more than 2,000." So I (or Hanna) stand corrected.
