Arab (or Saudi-funded) media standards. This is hilarious. The news of Prince Bandar's hefty bribes fill newspapers and airwaves around the world, but not in the Arab press. Take a look at the Arabic press. Saudi and Hariri media are clearly imposing a blackout on any news of the matter: only Al-Akhbar and As-Safir in Lebanon reported (as well as AlJazeera TV and Al-Quds Al-`Arabi in the Arab world at large). I know. I know. There are more pressing news today, like the front page story in Al-Hayat about King `Abdullah urging Muslims to...pray for Oman.
The Egyptian daily, Al-Ahram (which is unreliable even on its obituary page), printed a small news item about a British company "denying" paying a bribe.
