While all this is going on, liberal Lebanese intellectuals (and some leftists too) found time to sign a petition on behalf of Michel Kilo (Don't get me wrong. I have no problem with that. If it is up to me, I would have the Syrian regime overthrown tomorrow. But Michel Kilo? While Nahr Al-Barid is being bombed indiscriminately? And why not sign petitions for political prisoners in Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Jordan, etc? Or do they think that only the lousy Syrian regime holds political prisoners?)
