This is one of my favorite restaurants in the US: Fadi's in Houston. They have all good quality food although the desserts did not look great (and the knafa that I ate there 2 years ago was just ok). But the rest of the food is just excellent. They even bake manaqish for you per order. And they were high quality. The fried cauliflowers were excellent as was the baba ghannuj. Fattush was not authentic but I enjoyed it--whatever it was. Throughout the meal Angry Arab was not angry at all. But once the meal was consumed, I resumed my angry state.
