They are implying on New TV that their correspondent in `Alay, Christine Habib, was "physically" attacked by Jumblat goons. They are now implying that the goons were furious that she reported about the mob attacks on poor Syrian workers. Such regular attacks are normally kept out of the Lebanese media coverage (and out of the reports of Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch).
I want to ask one question to Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch: if for two long years, citizens from Denmark were regularly killed, and hit throughout Lebanon, would the two esteemed organizations not raise a hue and cry? I bet that the Security Council would have met over that.
