One of the repulsive aspects of Lebanese political culture is that no matter how divided the Lebanese are, and no matter how intense the sectarian conflicts may be at any point, all Lebanese sects and political organizations are capable of suspending their differences in order to 1) rally behind the lousy Lebanese Army; 2) blame the Palestinians for this or that incident.
