Flash. Bush Doctrine Update. "As many as six U.S. military cargo flights carrying ammunition are scheduled to land in Lebanon over the next two days to resupply Lebanese forces fighting Islamic militants near the northern city of Tripoli, senior U.S. officials told CNN's Barbara Starr on Thursday. The Western-backed government of Lebanese Prime Minister Fouad Siniora urgently requested the ammunition, prompting the U.S. military to scramble for available supplies around the world, the officials said."
