Firas Hatum of New TV is serving as a mere propagandist for the Lebanese Army. He reported today how Lebanese journalists tried to enter the camp to report on the misery inside, and how the Lebanese Army arrested the journalists (and apparently shot at them). Hatum provided justification for the arrest of the journalists. New TV has not distinguished itself this week. The only media in Lebanon that have raised questions about what is going on have been As-Safir and Al-Akhbar.
