Shi`ite Mufti of Lebanon, `Abdul-Amir Qabalan, did something good today. He called the Little Ayatullah Sistani and talked to him about the mistreatment of Palestinians in Iraq at the hand of sectarian Shi`ite militias/death squads. (My late father knew him well; he used to say that you can buy him with a plate of frakah).
