By the way, does anybody know why when I tried to blog using windows mobile on my phone, I could not click on publish? It just would not work. Anyway. I watched John Bolton on LBC-TV. Of course, he was not challenged. LBC-TV and AlArabiya TV don't challenge American officials: this explains why American officials favor being on those channels, over--say--AlJazeera or New TV. Bolton said that the Iranian people just wish to enjoy the democracies that their neighbors enjoy. I kid you not. The statement went unchallenged by the annoying host Marcel Ghanim. Yes, the Iranian people are just eager to have what Iraqis and Saudis have, and I never knew that. Pelosi said that she discussed women's issues with the King of Saudi Arabia. I believe that. I am sure that she and the King discussed the various schools of feminism. The King, it turns out, leans toward existential French feminism. I read the book of Adorno's letters to his parents. Most surprising. You would not think of Adorno being--well, read the book. At least a whole book and no mention of Hariri Inc.
