I like Lebanese TV journalist, Rabi`ah Az-Zayyat--not only because she is from the city of Tyre. She used to be unfairly assigned to fluff topics on NBN-TV: yet, she would insist on interviewing me on feminist issues (and globazliation) even when she was discouraged from tackling serious political issues. (She once saw me sitting at a Starbucks Cafe in Beirut, and quickly admonished me.) Now she has her own talk show also on NBN-TV. She does an excellent job in selecting topics and in leading the discussion. Today, she devoted the show to the plight of domestic servants in Lebanon.
