This is quite hilarious--in a bizarre kind of way. One of the most sectarian and fanatic clerics in Lebanon, Muhammad `Ali Al-Juzu (who does not hide his admiration for Al-Qa`idah) is invited to speak on "Panel of the World and the Culture of Hatred: On Fanaticism, hegemony, and the culture wars" in the official Al-Janadiriyyah Festival in Saudi Arabia. But I always eagerly wait for the results of the Qur'an recitation contest. Are you not eager to see who will win this year? I think it is quite thrilling to wait for the results.
