I don't understand why Lebanese media don't claim that Rafiq Hariri had "invented" a cure for cancer. I mean, why not add that to the long list of bogus accomplishments that are pothumously attributed to him. Also, An-Nahar newspaper claims at least once a year that some Lebanese somewhere has "invented" a cure for cancer--or AIDS to be fair. So why not Hariri. But I have to say among the accomplishments of Hariri was his love for ful (fava beans with olive oil, garlic, and lemon juice although the Egyptians serve it without lemon juice). Nidal Ashqar told me that Masrah Al-Madinah used to serve the best ful, and that Rafiq Hariri used to send his bodyguards with several empty pots to fill them with ful. I am sure that he deserves an award of this: the Ful Annual Prize.
