Former Iraqi communist leader, `Aziz Muhammad, was interviewed by Paul Bremer for a position on the puppet "governing council." He said that he found him senile. This Muhammad is now a columnist in Saudi media, and is prominently featured on the sleazy Saudi website, elaph. Muhammad was a favorite for Saddam: he gave the Saddam regime the most "useful" information on Iraqi communists--information that was used to kill hundreds of them. Muhammad even volunteered to go on TV (this was early seventies) to denounce his fellow comrades. His interviewer in that famous propaganda segment was none other than the then director of Iraqi TV: Muhammad Sa`id As-Sahhaf. Oh, this Muhammad is now an advocate for democracy: and his memoirs is available in as many versions as the memoirs by Elie Wiesel.
PS I am talking about `Aziz Al-Hajj of course.
