Thus lied Muwaffaq Ar-Rubay`i. Somebody should find us the transcript. Apparently, the permanent Iraqi National Security Adviser, Muwwaffaq Ar-Rubay`i, appeared on CNN today and tried to explain the scene of Saddam's execution--where he was present (allegedly) shooting the cellphone video footage. He said that there was nothing unusual during the execution. But when asked about news that the men present danced on or around the body of Saddam, he claimed that it was customary in Iraq for men to dance on the body of the deceased.
