Peace and freedom are at hand. Peace and freedom are at hand. I watched the speech by Bush. Have you noticed how more modest the aima are now? Just compare the number of "liberty" and "freedom" in his previous speeches versus this speech. The aim was the best democracy in the world, and now, it is providing neighborhood policing. So Bush told the American public that, yes he failed in achieving all his goals and aims, but that he can still achieve them with 20,000 extra troops. Do you notice that when Bush speak on foreign affairs he has the look of the Saudi king when subjected to a snap test in calculus or in Arabic reading? And according to your esteemed president--I still am surprised when I see him speak on foreign affairs; he even looks unqualified and incompetent--Al-Qa`idah has a devious new plan. Well, they plan to take over Al-Anbar province and use it as a base of operation against...THE US, for potato state. Does he think that Al-Anbar is across the US border? He actually said that. And did you notice that he rattled off lists of things that the Iraqi government will be doing? I can see his puppet prime minister saying: Do I really have to do all that? And he made it sound as if the Iraqi puppet government decides for itself. Well, the NYTimes' John Burns says that the US is keen on "respecting the sovereignty" of Iraq. So be advised. He threw one passing reference to Lebanon, and you will see tomorrow how the Hariri rag, Al-Mustaqbal, will make it look like it was the cornerstone of the speech. And on another note, why can't I find mulberries in the US? Why?
